BMW 2012 328i turbo. 2/3 holes line up. You can cut the middle threaded stud off and just use the mounts at each end. It works. To get the old one out I had to drill the plastic tab out of the hole in the bottom of the glass. This new unit has a clip that grips the glass. It doesn't use the hole in the glass. A proper one for this car is triple the price so I made this work. I had to file the upper hole up about 1/8 inch. My scanner wasn't able to program it and set its limits but it works.

The rear passenger power window regulator on the my car failed in the middle of winter. I bought the A-Premium regulator and my son and I installed it with the help of a YouTube video and basic trim tools. It was easy to install and works great, so far! Better than driving around with a rigged up garbage bag flapping around. Great value, plug and play.

Perfect install to factory specs, this regulator also eliminated the cable guides for direct cable action which should help prevent failures in the future.

It installed great within half hour. However the cable broke within two months. The rear window does not get heavy usage, so not sure why it did not last long. Looks like oem is the way to go from here on. Would like to see if dealer writes back with a replacement solution.

Fit well and install was easy in about 15-20 minutes. A little finicky to properly reattach the window glass to the regulator's retaining clips as they're brand new and quite stiff, but overall easy. You have to "program" the new regulator assembly with the driver's side door master switch after install so the one-touch up/down feature works.

Simple installation. YouTube has plenty of instructional videos to prepare you. About 15 minutes per side for me. Be sure to order the door panel clips too. Until you program the computer though (another You Tube video), the window will go up and down in increments, about 1/4 of the way each time the switch is pressed.
