It's light and fun and easy to use and I really liked the included slides. The focus ring turns and works well to see different surfaces clearly. But no matter what I tried this will not zoom in and out, which I was counting on. There is one preset magnification (not sure what level it is) which will not change.

Item works ok, but not enough instructions on how to work it. Trial and error got me through so far. But an 8yr ild has to use it.
