Makes examining specimens on my dissecting microscope (Swift M27LED) MUCH easier. Movements are smooth and precise. Adapting this mechanical stage to the scope (for which it was not made) required some adhesive non-slip padding, thick double-side sticky tape, a 3"OD rubber washer, glue, and a 2" frosted plastic disk. The adapted mechanical stage works beautifully, solid, zero wobble, and butter-smooth movements. A pleasure to use!

Ich habe diesen Tisch als Unterbau für eine preiswerte USB-Mikroscope-Kamera beschafft und habe durch die Kombination der beiden Elemente (XY-Tisch und USB-Mikroscopekamera) nun ein kleines und hochwertiges USB-Mikroskop für wissenschaftliche Experimente. Da dieser Tisch relativ flach ist, kann ich das Microscope ohne weiter Änderungen verwenden. Inzwischen habe ich an einer Achse die Kamerahalterung befestigt und benötigte die original Grundplatte des Mikroskops nicht mehr. Das so entstandene Mikroscope kann ich sehr leicht verstauen und es nimmt viel weniger Platz weg als meine bisherige Standmikroskope. Wenn die Kameratechnik sich verbessert, kaufe ich einfach eine neue USB-Microsscopekamera.

Works great. Added a chopped up caliper and now I have a digital readout to .001" of the movement. Works great under a digital microscope that has a crosshair generator.

I'm not using this for a microscope but instead for SMD assembly as an XY table for the board I'm putting 0201 sized components on. It's easier to brace my wrist and move the table with my left hand until I'm ready to place SMD part. For this it works very well and is very smooth in it's operations. It's made well and has a very smooth action.

Truly great product.The description does not do justice to this great product. It is all metal construction, and very heavy. The rack and pinion work perfectly smoothly.It is a genuine bargain for the price. Highly recommended.

I bought this stage for my inspection scope, after the manufacturer claimed microscope slide could not be used. Add a light source under the stage and adjust the stage height to suit the inspection scope focusing and you can see microscope slides. Adjust the intensity of the light from under the stage.My chief complaint is that the slide is not built up high enough to accommodate a light under the stage. Adding a variable light source to this stage would increase its potential for macro or microscope photography.

The translation mechanisms are tight and work smoothly. The base mounting was more complicated than I thought it would be, but still workable.
