These caps are a low dome design, so if you have others you are matching beware -- not all caps are the same.I am pleased enough with them despite one having a casting imperfection that left a pin hole through the top. You can see that in the photo. The other three were fine. I just dabbed a bit of E6000 glue over the hole on the inside and it will be waterproof for the next 50 years. They have a good slim fit and don't flare out at the bottom like some others I've used. They have a clean look. They snug up tight and secure on standard 2 inch I.D. (2 3/8 O.D.) schedule 40 galvanized steel pipe, which is the norm for heavy duty fence posts. No doubt they fit the 16 gauge wall galvanized steel 2 3/8 fence posts as well.The vendor seems to indicate they are galvanized. They are a galvanized color, sort of, and look fine with the aforementioned galvanized steel pipe, but these are cast aluminum.A pack of 20 from another vendor will give you a better price per piece but I only needed a few and these are priced competitively.

Solid pieces. Nice fit on the line posts I recently installed. They shouldn't rust and look nice.
