This thing is great. It’s super powerful. Super fast. I felt the price was good for the quality. The design is good. I do feel it’s kind of difficult to clean depending on what you’re grinding, but I do feel it’s still easier to clean than some other models I’ve tried. The powder is consistent size and very fine. Doesn’t leave any chunks behind! It’s super easy to use, very user friendly and straight to the point. It is pretty loud, but I don’t mind it because it works so well. It does get a bit hot quicker than I’d like but I just do small batches.

I used this grinder to grind various foods to make chow for composting worms. I had previously tried another brand, but it wasn't nearly as strong as this one. I had to return it. This one works great and the capacity is what I need.

This grinder is amazing and the price wasn’t too bad. The only thing I had a problem with was understanding the instructions but then realized that it was pretty simple to operate. This was a great buy.

I broke a blender last year on horseradish root.This ALD kitchen grinder worked faster and did twice the amount.It is loud but not excessively so .Easy to clean,takes up little space.I have used it on parsley,tomatoes and sage from my garden.I see no end to it's usefulness.

I started out with a hand crank model that you clamp to the table and tell you the truth the hand crank model that’s pretty good, but after getting a little tired and having to run your grain through more than once, the electric one is a dream. I feel this electric model halfway full, and it only takes about 15 seconds to turn hard white berries into a a fine flower that feels like talcum powder. What you get is smooth and consistent and I think that’s all anybody would ask for. It’s basically effortless and then you use the brush that is provided and it will dust all of it out for cleaning. This is a commercial grade product that looks wonderful sitting on my marble kitchen counter. And it’s a conversation starter with friends wondering what that is. Lol bottom line makes your life easier and you don’t have to hand crank it.

It leaks like crazy! I wish I could return it. But I didn’t get to use it before the eligible return date. Every time I used it, our room is full of powder. I ended up using a $20 cheap coffee grinder multiple times and it’s so much better to inhale those powder and doing the cleaning after. E-mailed seller about it, but didn’t get any reply.

First use, grinder started smoking from the side, and not from the spice. Smoke filled the room then shut down. Will not restart.

I was frustrated in purchasing these typical domestic type units ( @200 watts) that only lasted for a very short time. I was concerned that this entry level commercial type unit (1800 watts) would be too much for a regular domestic 15 amp circuit.It's a very powerful unit. no problems using it on nutmeg and cinnamon sticks. I like it very much.
