This is a great book holder. The etched glass is so antique looking. Unfortunately it is hidden by the book :) but has a wonderful old world look! Very well built and sturdy!

This is heavy enough to hold up a large cookbook. It makes it far easier to actually read the cookbook and keeps it off the countertop. I should have thought of this years ago.

From the photos I expected it to be bigger, but it’s smaller in person. It’s made of some sort of resin that resembles oil rubbed bronze color and comes protected in package with styrofoam. It’s pretty and functional for near a stovetop. Thanks for reading, and YMMV.

I really love this ornate cookbook stand! It is sturdy, attractive, and my cookbooks fit in it nicely. I also use it to hold papers when I am working on the computer. Other than it being so attractive, I really like how stable and sturdy it is.

Beautiful book stand and great craftsmanship. This book stand is very sturdy and can hold large and thick books of many sizes. The back is just a cardboard kick stand held on with some black ribbon. It's a great addition to my kitchen and I highly recommend getting this.

I love this book stand. It has plenty of room to place a closed or open book and the decorative function of it is amazing. It is sturdy and heavy so you don't have to worry about it falling over either.

This is a beauty. Adds charm to any kitchen decor. Looks like metal but actually is very heavy duty resin of some sort. The kickstand is some sort of lightweight chipboard, which I think should be a little sturdier. Hopefully it will hold up if you are not constantly moving it around. I have it in a set location and only need to change book or recipe card so I don't plan on moving it a lot. It has ample room on the ledge for a thicker recipe book. Overall it is a great product. Gave it four stars only because of the kickstand in the back, which could have been a little better. It has a hook on the back and can also be hung on the wall if you like.
