About 1/2 of the illustrations were not agreeable to me, but all the rest were very nice.Paper.. quality good, could use water soluble brushes (didn't bleed through), watercolor pencils not too good,tho. thickness acceptable, able to remove a page for framing. Overall - I liked.

I bought this for my girlfriend for Christmas and she told me the book uses shading and it makes it difficult to color the over the pages and color over the shading picture makes it look horrible. But she still loves it
