Don’t try using their non sensible directions. You would need to perform a magic trick to get to pic #2 after inserting the strap as shown in pic #1. Am I the only one to notice this? There is a process to insert the strap to engage the built in catch tab but it ain’t what they are showing. I haven’t used this yet but I have done the strap insertion and hope the little tab stays in place. Otherwise the quality looks good. Another thing, they show other stock pics of hose clamps being used and they aren’t even this type. Why not use pics of your product? They are lazy and rely on an unsuspecting trusting purchaser.

I needed a long clamp for a 18 inch duct and one of these clamps was just what I needed. I I wrapped it around the duct, tightened it and cut off the excess. If you need a long clamp this one worked for me and I would recommend it.

I used these to secure 10' galvanized poles to existing 4' chainlink fence post to hang sports netting around my yard. While they work as I intended them there is one issue. The tab on the fastener that holds the band from slipping out will in fact slip. The fastener needs to be securely against something flat or not too round. If too rounded the fastener will bend and the band slips out. It worked find on the my larger fence posts but the smaller posts I had to be mindful of the fastener placement.
