Not quite “universal“, but I was able to find a way to make them work. I ended up having to remove the feet from my headboard, and only use one of the headboard screws instead of two, as the holes that are pre-drilled in this kit did not fit the distancing on my headboard. Overall, I was able to make it work to remove the frame around my bed and attach the headboard directly to my adjustable bedframe.Seems very sturdy and does come with lots of hardware for installation.

We needed a head board but the queen sz. frame qw had was just that, a frame and it would always come off the wall and then of course the pillows would fall and yeah it was a pain but being able to secure a heasd board to the frame then secured the head board to the wall now werte good, this is a great product im glad I listened to her when she suggest this.

This fits great on my adjustable base bed. Beyond easy to install. My headboard did not require me to drill holes to attach it to the brackets as the existing holes lined up perfect. Better kit than they sell at the mattress store. So easy to install with the included tools. Well built and heavier than other kits on the market. You get your money's worth with this kit.
