I bought these latches to hold a V shaped nose on my 5ft x 10ft utility trailer. They should work perfectly. They are very sturdy built and easy to install, plus they can be locked in place. The V shaped nose on the trailer is latched in place for quick removal so when I am pulling the trailer empty the air can flow through, thus cutting the wind resistance a huge amount and increasing my gas mileage. These latches will make install and removal of the trailer nose, very easy to do.
