Liked it has a nice tight fit, the original oil cap got lose over time 22 years. It would of been Nice if the writing was yellow like the original factory oil cap.

Exact replacement for GM Vortec 8100 8.1L engines. More affordable than sourcing the correct OEM O-ring and sealed the crankcase fill tube perfectly.

My old oil cap was really loose and barely stayed on. This fit perfectly, nice and snug. Nice having peace of mind knowing there is no debris getting in my engine.

I had several men tell me there is no difference an oil cap is an oil cap. I struggled for 3 yrs opening the stupid thing. People ck. The seal said it was good. Took it to a dealer, was told it was upside-down.Finally after going to an auto store and being told once again it's, fine, I ordered the one recommended on Amazon. Its perfect, opens like it should. I looked up the one that was on it, the cap was for a newer model. So, there is a difference.

After doing some off-roading in my astro van I noticed my oil cap was missing! It was always a little loose fitting, but I didnt think it would ever fly off! After fabricobling a oil cap out of a beer can for the rest of the trip, I ordered one of these and it fit perfect! Nice and snug!
