This is the 2nd adapter I have bought for my Fujitsu ScanSnap iX500 scanner. The first one started making huge sparks when plugged into a high quality surge protector.Because I don't want an electrical fire, I decided to replace it. To my surprise, I receive an adapter identical to the first one, with the YUSTDA brand. I ordered one from the Yukoo brand. Why doesn't it match? You can see on the box. The Fujitsu ScanSnap iX500 requires an output of 16V and 2.5A. This adapter has an output of 16V and 4A. When plugging it into the outlet, it makes huge white sparks. So much that the metal tip got a small burn mark on it! For some reason, this 2nd adapter feels even cheaper and lighter than the first one. I've never had this problem with any other power adapter.I don't want to damage my scanner, nor start a house fire.Please do yourself a favor and do not order this adapter. It's cheap garbage for $30 and the brand is not what I ordered.

Didn't try this for a couple months after purchase but once I tried it it wouldn't fit for the ix500. Lesson learned...should have tried as soon as it came in.

I'll give it 4 stars ... it does what it should at a fair price. I deduct 1 star because the end is too fat. It wont stay in the scanner. You have to push a book or something heavy against it for it to stay in.

This works well, replacing the original power supply which caught the fancy of my Chesapeake Bay Retriever.
