Parts was fine, but drive head stripped = so a bit of JB weld and presto - works like a charm.

My husband had the broken part removed and this new one put on in a flash. My blender is now back in working order.

My old blender chewed up the rubber coupling between the motor and the blender jar. The Blander Coupler/Spanner kit was easy to install and an exact replacement. It took five minutes. All I needed was this kit and a ordinary pair of pliers. The blender works great.

Seems like kitchen aid mixers are all having the same issues that’s why this replacement part exists. It’s good that it comes with the tool, but you’ll also need a small pry bar/ screwdriver to take the old part off. Job complete within a few minutes.

After many years of use and abuse, our blender's coupler gave out.Amazon got this kit to us overnight for a few dollars. It's a little tricky to get the included wrench in proper position to hold the shaft, but it fits easily once the correct angle is achieved. A channel lock, vice grip, or large pliers to grab the broken coupler and give it a twist clockwise (left hand thread) and then remove it, screw the new one on counter-clockwise, and it's good as new. Total time 2 minutes.

Having the wrench come with the replacement part really makes this a great product. With the supplied wrench I was able to install the part in 30 seconds. Perfect!!!

This product includes two replacement couplers and one spanner. The product was delivered rapidly and the included spanner worked correctly to remove and replace the original coupler. The first replacement coupler broke progressively over only 3 uses of the blender despite the other blender components still moving smoothly and easily when turned by hand. All teeth were progressively shredded off about halfway along their length so I think the flexible teeth are too weak for the intended use or the dimensions are not to specification compared with the original part.I have just swapped to the 2nd supplied coupler and added close fitting washers to total 1.5mm thickness between the base of the part and the axle so as to push the contact point of the coupler upwards so it has a thicker cross section where the force is transmitted to the blender jug. See photos for further explanation.Follow up after 1 year: the modification as above provided 1 year of good service (used a few times each week) and then the teeth finally gave way again (1 at a time). Still usable with 4 teeth but looking for another alternative.I would have given 2 stars except for the rapid service and the fact there were 2 parts so I could try something different the second time.

These couplers appear to be as good or better quality than the factory one I'm replacing on my Kitchenaid blender. The removal of the old coupler took literally less than 10 seconds with the included tool. Getting a tool for this job is highly recommended. The new coupler fit exactly. The entire repair took less than a minute and my blender is as good as new!Something I would recommend doing while you are fixing your blender is to clean and lubricate the blade shaft on the blade assembly. It's easy and will improve life of the coupling and the overall performance. Here's how: just like the coupling, the knob on the bottom of the blade assembly unscrews clockwise (backwards from normal for screws). Grab the blade with a dish towel to avoid damage to your hands, then take off the knob and pull out the blade and shaft while slowly rotating it, as it will likely be tight. Use a Q-tip and clean inside the pipe, as well as clean the shaft. Finally put a little oil (small amount using a new Q-tip) on the top rubber bushing and in the pipe before reassembling. Remember to tighten it counter-clockwise. No need to tighten a lot, as using the blender will tighten it sufficiently. For oil, use only food-friendly oil. Don't use household oil like WD-40! Best is something like peanut oil that holds integrity for high temperatures. Olive oil is OK, least desirable are vegetable oils, which gum up over time.
