I was having intermittent issues with my previous LBA card (LSI 9207-8i) that was also flashed to IT mode. unRaid kept reporting disk write errors. At first, it was every now and then and it got to the point where my disk 15 almost always had errors. I'd remove it from the array, re-add it, let it rebuild the data from parity and it would be okay for a few weeks until it happened again. I'd finally had enough and ordered this card. This is an amazing price for an LSI 9211-8i that's already flashed to IT mode. If you have the choice of ordering an LBA card that's already flashed to IT mode from IR mode, buy that one. It can be a royal PITA to flash some LBA cards. The two important aspects of this card are already done if you are running unRaid, it's in IT mode and has the most stable firmware version already installed. Don't even think twice, get this one. The only thing I did was remove the heatsink and applied some Arctic Silver 5 to the chip/heatsink. These cards can get pretty toasty to I do recommend doing that if you have some thermal compound on-hand. I also installed a fan on the heatsink to help keep it cool
