These blades are supposed to be for wood embedded with metal, and they do actually work for that. They don't really seem to be very sharp, but they do cut through materials. This particular blade in my picture, I have used to cut around 10 2x4's, and a couple of long cuts along boards maybe 8' total. Its still cutting, but it seems like they lose effective cutting fairly quickly. I've had better luck with some of the brand name blades, but for the amount of these you get and the price they're probably worth it.

These blades do exactly as they advertise; they cuts through nail embedded wood. I tested the blades by driving two nails (see picture) into a board. I believe the nails were a 4d and a 10d nail. I cut perpendicular to each nail. The 4d nail cut so cleanly, I hardly felt the blade going through. The 10d, I could tell I hit the nail, but there was no kickback, and the blade took just a couple of seconds to cut through the nail.These are great blades at a good value. Like most recip blades, they are fairly disposable. You do not buy a set to last forever. The type of cutting you do with a blade will dull a blade. These blades held up well to this test.

What a great blade. I love that these are super long. And they are definitely multi-purpose. I had a sprinkler that had become embedded in tree roots and using my sawzall is the only way to get down to it. These blades go through roots big and small, dirt and everything else in between. I did try to cut through one nail, and it was like cutting through butter. Having a multi pack is great, and I'm an organized person, so having a case to store them in is great. Can't go wrong with these blades.

They've worked pretty good. Sharp. Cut well. Last pretty good. Better than some. Not as good as the real expensive brands in stores but for demo they're great even though you might use a couple more they still end up being less expensive in the long run.

These demo blades are super sharp and cut through just about anything! The value for the money is great too as they give you so many of them. They are easy to use and fit my saw with no issues.The durability is great for how thin the blades are. They bend a bit so if you’re looking for accurate cuts through thick material I would recommend thicker blades.
