Easy Installation
Megatex lighted bathroom mirror was built with an excellent mounting system which is a typical "ledge" design that will never dislodge and was very easy to install.
Make four suitable holes in the wall, embed the wall anchors, use screws to fix the bracket in the middle of the screws and wall anchors and tighten it, and the mirror can be hung on it.

Plugin/Wall Switch
Two installation methods are available:
1. Plugged directly into an outlet for use.
2. Hardwired (recommended by an electrician). Cut the plug, connect the same color wire and tighten them(Disconnect power before hardwire).
White(neutral) supply wire to the white(or ribbed) mirror wire, Black (live) supply wire to the black(or smooth) mirror wire, and green or bare copper supply wire to the green or bare copper mirror wire.

Turn off the blue light
Long press the anti-fog button for 3 seconds to turn off the blue light.

Waterproof LED Light Strip
Megatex LED Mirror's strips have been rigorously tested by Intertek to have a 75,000+ hour lifespan and double strips for brighter illumination.

The Size of the Frame
The thickness of the frame is about 0.98 inches.
The width of the front lights is about 1.97 inches.
The width of the frame front is 0.02 inches.

We bought this mirror for a master bath remodel. It has far exceeded our expectations. It does everything we could need. Backlit, front lit, dimmable, defog, you can change the light settings and is still plenty bright. The mirror itself was great, no circus waves or anything.

The mirror is very nice and the quality of the mirror clarity is excellent. I would have given it a 5 but I had to return the first one because of damage. The second one came with very minor damage so I’ll use it. Note to seller, you need to package the mirror much better than you currently do. The first box was destroyed and the second also had enough damage to mark up the edge.

I got this as part of a bathroom remodel and did not install myself. The only potential downside, which is described in the listing - is that the fog-free area is not that large. The mirror is hung vertically, and because I am 5'2", the fog free square is too high on the wall, so all I can see if the top of my head. Probably not an issue for the 5'4" or taller crowd or if you hang the mirror horizontally.

Get it professionally installed because it's awesome sauce and it works very well. In fact, having it hardwired automatically turns on the defroster and so you totally don't even need to remember before you go take a shower. It's just nice to be able to see the devilishly charming person in the mirror after a nice hot shower. Meow meow.

Ok maybe my review isn’t totally fair because we just installed the mirror in our new construction home. Have not used it with the steamer/shower on just yet but it was easy to install, works great, and looks great
