I have wooden coasters. But I wanted some fabric ones for better absorption for cold beverages and leaky water bottles. I purchase most items based on function, not for decor. But these happen to be simplistic and cute, while also functional. I haven’t washed yet, if there’s issues there, I will update. But so far, so good. Average sized cups fit fine on these
