If you are new to foiling your stained glass pieces, you can go cross-eyed within minutes. I got this tool after foiling about 20 pieces, and what a difference! Its fantastic, make sure you watch the video noted on the paper is comes with. My only advice, is always make sure the tool has at least 4 feet of slack from the copper spool; you go through foiling a lot faster, so if it has to pull the foil tape forcefully, the copper starts to crimp. This one was so much easier to add foil and use. Keeps foil even when applying to glass piece. I do most of my foiling using this tool.

Awkward to use and you just waste foil. This tool is garbage.

Not an easy task to thread the foil into the tool, it is awkward and makes foiling more difficult. Save your money and don’t buy this
