This roll of mesh works really well for bait that does not attach to hooks well. Just roll it up in the mesh and tie it off. Work your hook through it or attach it other ways. Haven't caught anything but that could be my choice of bait or location. When I reeled it in the mesh was holding welll and the bait was mostly intact.

I use a lot of drifting spawn sacks for steelhead fishing. This netting works fine and is the right width for cutting squares to make my spawn sacks. This 72 ft roll is enough for me to make over 250 spawn sacks which covers me for the whole season. The color is bright and works well with salmon or trout eggs along with my "secret" spawn sack recipe.

I bought the yellow. I thought this would be a good value for tying mass quantities of egg sacs. It’ll work if your eggs are firm, but much finer and stiffer than other more commonly known brands. Actual product is not what is displayed in the pictures. Probably too stiff if your eggs are more delicate and soft. I can’t speak for use on other bait types. Might work just fine for catfish baits.
