I’m a groomer and this blade didn’t work from the first cut. I do NOT recommend. Go for the brand name for better quality. This won’t even work for someone who only does their own dog and not multiple in a day, highly disappointed and what a waste of hard earned money.

Fits perfectly on my Oster brand clipper. It's a really nice blade, it worked nicely on my poodle's hair which can be quite thick. It stayed sharp throughout the groom and did not overheat too quickly.

This helps me get through tough mats on long coated dogs. It works great.

Works well on our very curly Goldendoodle. The skip tooth cuts pretty well through heavy curls and matted dog fur. The higher the number the shorter the hair will be cut, also the easier it will be to cut it. These cut down to about 1/8 of an inch of hair left. We use it with our Andis AGC2 clippers, and the fit just like the Andis branded ones. They run kind of hot ( as all stainless steel heads do) when clipping so I might convert them with a ceramic blade later when they get duller. I am just a DIY dog groomer but have been doing it for 10 years on 2 dogs and have tried many blades, these are better than most cheap totally stainless blades. For about $30 it is an OK deal, but for a couple of bucks more you might want to look into ones with a ceramic blade.

I am a professionally trained convex edge sharpener. I sharpen all manner of convex edges such as high end barber shears, pet grooming clipper blades (A5 type) like this one and small stock animal clippers. I use an Andis AGC2 clipper, faux fur and a collection of professional tools specifically designed to sharpen and test convex blades. This blade was well oiled. The tension was just a tad light, 2 1/2 lbs rather than the 3 lbs that I look for. It cuts smoothly and consistently. All in all a nice blade at a fair price but you can get a proven, brand name blade for the same money.
