I typically get TRB hybrid ceramic for replacing motor bearings, but I also get their sealed abec3 bearings for most everything else. For the money, they last a decent amount of time.

I bought this bearing to replace the originals from Favero Assioma cycling power meters in order to reduce a litle the spin of all-metal seal bearings (ZZ). The bearings, due its rubber seal (2RS), reduce its free spin a little, enough to made easier to engage the pedal. The tolerances and fitment are perfect, looks pretty well made at a good price.

Using these for my Crank Brothers MTB pedals, after 6 or so hard rides, they're working great. These are relatively small bearings and take a lot of abuse in these pedals, from the pressure they deal with, dust and water intrusion, etc and I wind up replacing them yearly. The pedals themselves (2 pairs I have and use) are at least 6 years old and still going strong- these bearings are the weakest point IMO.I opened them up and added a tiny amount of high pressure, waterproof grease under the seal. Very very little, smaller than a pea. They did have lightweight grease in them, but I think they are intended for RC use so the grease they use is very thin so they spin fast, and really, how much abuse is an RC car going to give it, compared to a mountain bike pedal. FWIW, I use Lucas Oil high pressure polyurea grease, the green one. I think it's the same as Park Tools Polylube and much less expensive.

I love these bearings. The perform as well as any of the 'name brand' bearings. Even though they last just as long as any other bearing, at this price you can simply swap them at the first sign of wear.

these are the opposite of bearings. they actually have resistance. these would literally cause whatever mechanism you out them in to slow down.
