We filled the punching bag with air and it stands well on its own. You need to fill the base with either water or sand so that it doesn't move much. We don't have sand, so we used water. The size is perfect for my 9 year old. My kid had a lot of fun and burnt a lot of energy. Only one thing, we had to leave the bag outside on our back deck since the base is full of water and we don't want the tiny possibility of it leaks and ruins our floor.

I ordered this inflatable punching bag for my niece to use when she comes over to visit. She has recently taken an interest in boxing, so this couldn’t have come along at a better time. The inflatable nature of this punching bag is perhaps what I like most about it, as I can easily deflate it and put it away when not in use. Setting up the bag is relatively simple. First, you will want to weight the base. I opted to fill it with water, but you are free to use other methods. Once you have the base properly weighted, you can then inflate the bag. I found it a little tricky to get my air pump to insert into the nozzle of the punching bag, as the nozzle is a bit too close to the base. However, after some finagling, I was able to get it to work. I would definitely recommend inflating the bag with some sort of electric air pump, as a manual pump will take quite a while. The bag will also inflate a bit firmer, which will make it perform better. Just be sure not to overfill it. Another piece of advice would be to leave the bag slightly under inflated so that it can absorb impact better. You run less risk of tearing a seam or making a hole this way. Something else worth mentioning is that once inflated, the bag is absolutely huge! It stands at roughly around 6 FT tall. Included along with the punching bag is a set of blue vinyl boxing gloves, and a patch. While the gloves were a nice inclusion, they are far too small to fit my 8-year-old niece’s hands, and her hands aren’t even that big. The gloves should definitely be larger to account for the recommended age range. Other than that, I have no complaints.In closing, I am very happy with this inflatable punching bag, and even more importantly, so is my niece. She has had an absolute blast playing with it, and has even worn herself out to the brink of exhaustion several times. This bag is sure to be a hit amongst the youngsters, and I would definitely recommend it!

This punching bag is a fantastic way to keep kids entertained and active. It’s easy to set up—just fill the base with water or sand and inflate. Highly recommended for indoor or outdoor play!
