Installed fine but after a week of use, the plastic cracked and now it just spins on the hose faucet.

Doesn’t fit like my original Prier knob. The well that accepts the square stem is not as deep. I’m concerned that it might not hold up to the torque required to shut off the tap.I’ll probably return this item and purchase the PRIER knob.
