Noticeable decrease in sound, installed on one door so I have a direct comparison.I will do the second door next.

I really did like these door rollers I ordered to replace my older rollers that are about 20 years old. The new rollers are run quieter and the door appears to open and close more easily thus reducing stress on the door itself. The rollers were fairly easy to install with some rudimentary knowledge and a decent socket set for tools. I also found some "YOUTUBE" videos to help me and installation did not take long, about 1.5 hours to include beer breaks! This is a project that most people with some common sense can do themselves. Like I said, you have to have SOME common sense, if you are stupid, do not try it, you will just poke your eye out!

The garage door technician, that was fixing my opener, asked if I wanted to replace my rollers for $170. I said not right now and went on Amazon later and found the rollers and installed them myself after watching a YouTube instructional video. These are quiet and good looking rollers.

Edit: 9/15/2023, they now list these as "ZZ" bearings, they are in fact "RS", for 'rubber seal'. A rubber seal is what I want for my clients as they won't have to maintain them. ZZ bearing have a metal cage covering the bearing gap. ZZ's are fine but not for my application (garage doors) as the "ZZ" style tend to loose their lube and need lithium shot in there every year or so. Not ideal.Additionally, they now ship them in a plastic bag that is inside a small box. Much better over previous efforts, and the finish on the rollers is far better. I will raise these a star (to 4) for their improvements.I am a licensed Garage Door tech ("tech" makes it sound fancier, :-))I typically use another blue wheel brand, but noticed these looked the same and claimed the same 6200RS bearings, and were about $5 cheaper so I bought 9 boxes. 6 of the paper boxes were ripped open, 2 had to be placed into Amazon bubble-wrap envelopes by the warehouse, and the other 4 needed tape from the warehouse. I counted all rollers were there, but that wasn't a good start. Moving on to the quality. The nylon rollers themselves are not finished properly. They have nylon nodules are are not very smooth. In a garage door track, if a wheel has resistance and doesn't turn, a host of negative issues start to crop up.Bottom line: Very close to a winner, but not quite. 3 stars for the effort.
