- Shielded (Designation Suffix Z/ZZ) - High speed. Protect from dirt and debris.
- Sealed (Designation Suffix RS/2RS) - Made of sheet steel reinforced nitrile butadiene rubber (oil- and liquid-resistant). Lower limit speed than metal shield bearings.

THESE BEARING WORKED PERFECTLY! They are for a special perfect for the American flag. I was tired of the flag getting wrapped up on the pole. With a few different fittings I was pleased that the bearing worked PERFECT.

Years ago I had purchased a SDS rotary hammer drill when I was renovating my basement and putting in 100+ anchors into the cement. A few years later I repurposed the tool to act as a tamper for a patio. Apparently I had it on too long and the tool started making a terrible racket, so I just stopped using it and put it in the box. Recently I was cleaning my tool storage, noticed the tool and decided to take it apart to see if I could fix it.Ultimately it seems that one of the rotor shaft bearings lost some of the balls and was the cause of the failure. I was able to remove the pieces of the old bearing, measure it, and bought these. Replacing it was easy but I did have to sand some of the interference pieces a bit.The drill works just fine. I haven't put it through its paces but at least it works and sounds normal.

Dimensions are highly accurate and movement is smooth, but I was planning on using these for a project where high magnetic accuracy is important and they seem to have a decently strong polarity for some reason.Going to see if I can find a way to de-magnetize them, but it wasn't something I expected.

Smooth motion. No play detected. Dead silent. The finish is excellent on faces, very light grind/tooling marks on edges (no problem). Radii are consistent.Seals look good. I am getting a slight amount of grease ooze at the inner edge. HiPicco may be overstuffing these a bit.
