I have periodically been purchasing boxes of 42-gallon, 3 mil, 50-count plastic trash bags from my local home improvement store. I use them primarily for disposing of yard debris (shrubbery and grass trimmings as well as other miscellaneous items that will not fit into a smaller garbage bags). The new bags are also 3 mil in thickness, but they are 55-60-gallon capacity! They are at least 30% larger than the bags that I had been using plus they are essentially the same price. The dimension stated in the description is correct (37.5 inches X 53 inches), and, yes, I measured them, of course. They are quite a bargain in my opinion.Besides the capacity difference, the only other difference I noticed between my old bags and the new ones is that the old ones are cut across the top such that they have “wings” which facilitates tying the bag closed. The new ones are cut straight across the top and thus have no “wings”. This is a minor point for me because it is easy enough to tie the top with twine or wire, etc. or just not fill the bag completely to the top so that enough of the bag is available to allow tying.

Ordered/Received this Large (50) Count Box of Heavy Duty Trash Bags - Contractor Grade 3 mil Thick for my use around home and shop. This winter I've been cleaning out and straightening up my repair shop and finally cleaned & straightened up and now have started on our full size basement "clean up & clean out" mode. After looking over our full size 1800 Sq ft basement and seeing of just how much stuff we really don't need, it's almost overwhelming of how much junk can accumulate over 37 years. While recently shopping online for some good floor disinfect and cleaner,I saw this large box of (50) count heavy duty trash bags that hold up to 60 gallons of trash. After reading that they are designed with resin material and 3 mil thick and strong, I ordered them. I must say these are the strongest trash bags I've ever had or used. These babies are strong and tough!. I actually tried to pull/tear one apart and could not come close. Their 3 mil thick and heavy duty bags. I like the large 60 gal compacity and they hold a lot of junk. I've put everything from sharp edged 2"x4"'s to loose bent nails, screws, and broken glass off the floor in these bags and still no holes in these bags. I've used even some local brand names before, but none of them compares to these bags.I was glad to find these and also like the large (50) count box as it makes them more economical to use.These are well worth the cost in my opinion. If you need large and very strong contractor grade size bags for demolition work or etc., these are the ones to get. I would recommend these to my closest friends.They easily earn a (5) star rating

If you were expecting your typical generic light weight garbage bags, you are going to be in for a big surprise. These bad boys are heavy duty. I live out in the country, so the visit to the dump is a weekly chore. So instead of having to deal with several trips with several bags at a time, I can finally load everything into the one contractor bag and just make the one trip. I have a 55 gallon drum that I normally use and these bags fit it perfectly. 50 bags to the box and keep in mind, this box is going to be heavy, so you'll want to store it on a sturdy shelf. But having said that, for 50 bags of this quality is a bargain. I am very pleased with this purchase. And yes, I was one of those people that always thought, 'do I need something that big' the answer is simple. It's better to have them and not need them all the time rather than need them and not have them. So I definitely recommend this purchase.

Came in the mail fast! Needed this for the construction project happening in our home right now. Wanted a more affordable alternative since we have been using these bags like crazy. The quality is great, it is comparable to the husky name brand construction bags. It holds a lot and even though things are heavy the bag didn't rip and tear apart. Very sturdy and great quality. The bag is thick, the thicker is better which is symbolic of how much it can hold without any issue. We put drywall, nails and other demo stuff inside, without any issues. Would highly recommend this!

These bags are very strong, and they hold a ton of stuff. I like that they are packaged folded flat rather than rolled up, it just seems a bit easier to grab one and go. I wish they had handle ties to make tying easier but for the price, they are an excellent value.

The Mini n Mod 3 Mil heavy duty trash bags are great. They are so much better than the 1.2 mil SamsClub 55 gal bags I tried using to bag mulch and grass clippings for composting. I have one of those garden bagger carts that you clip the garbage bag onto. Fully loaded, the SamsClub bags tend to stretch and tear. Not the Mini n Mod bags - no rips, tears, punctures, or splits along the seams. After a single use the SamsClub bags are only suitable for garbage. The Mini n Mod bags after emptying are still in tact and can be re-used in the garden. The bags are folded individually so no annoying rolls to deal with. Take care when slicing open the box. I cut through both layers of the top bag. I used the bag anyway and it still worked great. The slits didn't get any larger as I filled the bag with composted wood chips. Wish I had bags like these on hand to clean up the mess on our property that Hurricane Milton created as it crossed central Florida. At the time of my order, these bags sold for $33 (50 bags at $0.66 each). Pretty good deal. Most of the other 3 mil bags on Amazon sell for over $1 each.

I ordered these for use as we do some serious downsizing and cleaning out of closets, cabinets, etc.They are huge and the quality seems to be pretty good.The only downside is that they have an odd scent to them. Not a plastic/rubber scent but something I can’t really put my finger on. If used outdoors, it probably wouldn’t be all that noticeable but in a closet or interior room one definitely notices it. It’s not a deal breaker for me but just felt the need to note it for scent sensitive folks.
