The photo looks like a quality piece, but what they send are cheap, thin, very shiny golden tacks with a logo stamped on them. Intentionally inaccurate listing.

This picture is extremely deceiving! It implies that this product is a old brass tone finished flat topped thumb tack that looks much more decorative and cooler than the gold-ish cheap thumb tacks you typically find in an office supply store. They aren't. They are just your typical cheap gold thumb tacks from an office store. This picture is what should be advertised...

From the description and picture, I thought I was purchasing slightly distressed thumbtacks. Imagine my surprise to receive shiny bright dollar store thumbtacks for significantly more than they normally are in the store. I returned them immediately.

They're thumb tacks. They do the job of being thumb tacks very well. My only complaint is that they are VERY shiny... I had bought these particular tacks because the picture made them look like they had a slightly antiqued or brushed brass finish, but they turned out to be just as bright & shiny as any other brass thumbtacks you can find on Amazon.
