This screw/bolt extractor set works great. The reverse spiral nut extractors do a good job of grabbing onto rusty and rounded over stuff. Combined with some heat, they can usually get the fastener free. If nothing else, they're better than breaking out the grinder. What I've had the best luck with are the right-hand twist bits. When they work, it seems almost like magic, especially because it requires so little effort.

Handy kit of extractors and drill bits makes quick work of removing broken bolts. I wish they included left handed drill bits instead of the standard right as sometimes the bolt will come right out in the drilling process when using left. Extra parts included for the most common ones and a nice case to hold it all.

This is something I have needed for a long time so I'm glad I found it and am very pleased with the quality. The drills appear to be of good quality and the sockets fit a 3/8" ratchet just fine. The ease-outs are also well made and the size variety will cover a wide range of sizes to remove most any broken bolt. The sockets are designed to grab nuts an bolts with rounded corners which could not be removed with a standard socket. The set also comes with a 3/8" driver which can be used with an electric drill. The only thing lacking in this kit is a 1/2" to 3/8" adapter which would allow me to use the sockets with an 1/2" drive impact driver. All in all it is a good useful set at a good price!

Kit arrived in good condition and includes a blow mold case to keep everything together. The fit and finish of the extractors is good as well as the size assortment.I didn't realize it when I ordered but it actually contains spares/duplicates of the delicate and most easily broken drill bits and screw extractors GENIUS! I always feel like ai get an extractor set and quickly break the smallest piece and then have a partial set.

This is a set of tools you hope you don’t have to use often. However, when you need them, you really need them.As a test, clamped an ordinary 1/2-13 grade 5 hex nut in my bench vice and drove on an ordinary 1/2-13 grade 5 bolt as hard as a light-duty impact wrench would drive it. I then used an angle grinder to round off the points on the bolt head. I chucked up the appropriate bolt extractor socket in the same impact wrench and it removed the rounded-off bolt with zero drama and zero observable damage to the extractor. I didn’t test the drill bits or the broken screw extractors because I want to keep them in as-new condition in case I ever need them on a job.Other Notes: 1) The kit is a bit of an odd mix of metric and SAE labeled components. On the other hand, once the head is rounded off or broken off, who cares if it was originally metric or SAE? 2) The initial fit, finish and overall quality of the kit and the case looks good. 3) Oddly, the included drill bits are ordinary right-handed drill bits. Minus three stars because the ad headline clearly states “left hand drill bit set”. That ain’t true. Fortunately, the nut and screw extractors are in fact left-handed.

Now that I've gotten this kit, I probably will never have to extract a broken or stripped screw or bolt! 🤞With that said, it looks like the extractor and bits are quality. They look and feel that they should be durable and get the job done. They come in a nice case, andvthe fact thatvthe case is red, it should be easy to spot in my tool cabinet.

The majority of circumstances are handled by the combination of the two extractor designs and left-hand drill bits. The case is of a respectable quality, and every component is marked. This tool gives a simpler technique to recover those stripped bits, easier, and without chance of injuring any other parts in the process. I think it's the most crucial item in my toolkit since it works so effectively.
