I had a shelf collapse and saw that these pegs were similar to what was on another shelf in my home. I simply placed the pegs in the appropriate holes and placed the shelf on top. It has been MONTHS, and my shelves, which hold pots and pans, has held up with no issues. Would buy again.

These shelf pins are angled upwards but should be flat.

Horrible brand.The ad says these are flat, they're not. Each of the 'spoon' part that the shelf is to sit on, isn't flat it tilts upwards, so that the shelf (in my case a glass shelf) is sitting on the very end point of each pin, instead of flat on a little flat pin shelf.In my case, it makes the purchase pointless, as I wouldn't balance glass shelves which are heavy, on the thin upper pointed edge of a metal pin, or they'll break.

Look great for the project I am making. Fit the 1/4" hole perfect. Just one thing... you need 4 per shelf. 50 is enough for 12.5 shelves. Why not 52 per pack? I guess you get 2 spare pins. Not a big deal but it is funny.

50 is way more than I needed, but not too expensive so good to have a few extras just in case.I used these for a Flannagan Library Bookcase which had fewer shelf pins than expected.These are the perfect size and similar enough to be like-kind replacements.They seem sturdy and it's a solid fit, therefore I have no complaints. I expect these to perform their function indefinately.

It's too bad I can't give these more than five stars because I totally would. We lost the pegs that came with our big wood bookcase, and it's a good thing that we did because these replacements are so much better. They have a very wide "spoon" that really supports. The bookshelves are in no danger of slipping off or wearing a groove that will prevent the shelf from being used. If I need more of these, I will definitely buy again.
