Are heavier that I expected. Well made. Easy to put together. Would not hesitate to buy for the price .

Great quality. Not cheap looking. I like how the tools hang and not sit on the base.

This is a really solid set. The way it is manufactured you can tell it will last a long time. I also like the look it looks great near the fire place.

Sturdy, looks great next to our fireplace but it came unassembled with lots of pieces to screw on. The poker handle tends to come unscrewed often but a little plumbing tape and now it threads correctly.

The kit had all the tools I need and organized in a convenient rack. I like the weight and heft of the tools, so they will endure long use in my wood stove. The price was very reasonable considering the quality.

After 40 years, it was time to replace the brass duck head fireplace tool set. Although hubby says “they still work fine! Why change it??” 40 years with brass duck heads. I’M FREE!!! I love the set. Goes so much better with my decor. Very happy 🥰They seem to be well made, nice finish, substantial weight, practical length. The handles are easy to grip and the tools sit easily in the holder. Will update the review this winter after some use if anything changes but for now this is a good solid purchase and good value for the money

This fireplace set is very well made of thick iron. It has a dark black coating which appears would protect it for years to come. The stand is heavy and very sturdy. I have a gas fireplace so this item is meant to just be a decoration which works very well but I can see the tools being of good use for a wood burning fireplace.Assembly was easy with no tools required. The only quibble is that the rods (which are of different heights) should be identified by letter from A (tallest) to D (shortest) on the instructions and then matched to their respective tool end (brush, poker, shovel, and stand base). Fortunately, I matched them correctly since a previous reviewer mentioned that the shortest rod should go with the longest tool and so on. I can see someone mismatching the rods and not having the piece fit properly on the stand. In which case it’s a simple matter of unscrewing the rod and putting in the right one. I’d just rather get it right the first time so clearer instructions in this case would help.It would also be nice to have an oil-rubbed bronze or similar brown option which would have been my color preference although the black matches with my fireplace border.
