We ordered these copper post caps for a privacy screen project. They are really beautiful, and cost only a few dollars more than the plastic ones I had planned on ordering. The project turned out really well, with the copper post caps being the finishing touch. Very glad we found these, and I highly recommend them. I ordered eleven of these for a new deck I'm building after reading all of the reviews, negative and positive. I’m very pleased with what I received. I believe the seller presents a reasonably accurate description of the product. I’ll address the previous reviews and some unanswered questions I had:- The caps appear to be real copper, absolutely not plastic, and are a reasonable thickness - not too thin, not too thick, and thick enough not to bend easily by handling them. I tried to bend the lip and it’s not easy.- They measure 3.75 x 3.75 at the lip, not 3 5/8 like the listing says, so a bit more wiggle room. I like the overhang look. The overhang is negligible - 1/8 inch on each side - and I was able to bend the lip a tiny bit for a more snug fit. I'm using 4x4 cedar posts which vary by as much as 3/16 inch so some caps are more snug, some looser. But they are NOT a tight fit, if that's what you are looking for. The overhang on my posts is less than it appears in the Amazon listing photos.- The exposed edges are smooth and not sharp enough to cut skin through normal handling. But they are metal so if you're concerned about cuts, maybe buy plastic instead.- Nicely individually wrapped in plastic with no scratches, dents, or blemishes. Packed well and tightly in a small box with some padding.- They seem sturdy. I think you'd have to strike them with something hard to dent them but that's what copper does, it's a soft metal.- And just FYI, the angle was not stated in the listing but is not 45 degrees as I guessed it would be. Good for me because I like a shallower look and I am going to cut the top of my posts to match the cap. I haven't measured exactly but the angle of the pyramid is less than 45 degrees. I'm guessing 32-35 degrees.- They measure close to 1.5 inches from the bottom of the lip to the peak of the pyramid.Overall I'm pleased with what I got. Copper is generally expensive and this seems like a good price after shopping around locally and online.Hope this helps!

I initially was drawn to this particular product because of the affordable price. When it arrived it had been carefully wrapped and packaged for its protection. I was pleasantly surprised to see what high quality this is.The 100% copper is a thick gauge and I expect that it will last many years and patina very nicely.I would definitely buy this again and highly recommend it.

I love the look of these copper caps. The fit on 3.5x3.5 is okay. I added silicone caulking to help keep in place.
