A clever little gadget that saves you from plugging in and pulling out audio jacks to select a signal.

I was hoping I'd be able to switch input without having to turn the amp off but this still gives a loud Pop and Hum, so the amp must be turned off during the switch.Still a convenient way to switch inputs and seems sturdy.

I've been using this product for about 7 months now and I don't have any complaints. The quality of the product feels good. It has some weight to it so it doesn't feel cheap. I bought this because I wanted to play my Nintendo Switch on my PC monitor. To get the sound (my monitor doesn't have built in speakers), I have my PC speakers connected from my PC to the Splitter and an Aux. Audio Cable from the Splitter to the PC. To get the sound from my Nintendo Switch, I bought an Audio Adapter and plugged that into the USB port on the Nintendo Switch Dock. I then took another Aux. Audio Cable to connect the Splitter to the Audio Adapter. All I have to do is push a button to swap between the two. There will be a slight popping sound from the speakers when switching, but it's very subtle and nothing to worry about. Sometimes there isn't a popping sound, it's just random. There is also no hissing/static noise emitting from the speakers while using this device. The volume knob on the Splitter works great too and can make anything a lot louder. If you have the volume all the way up on one of your devices/programs, you can always use the Splitter to make it even louder or lower, it's very convenient.Overall, this is a very simple device to setup and use. It does exactly what it's supposed to do and feels like a quality product for a very affordable price. Keep in mind you may need to purchase additional cables/adapters for whatever your setup is going to be.

Very happy with this switch. I replaced a small desktop mixer that introduced a lot of hiss into my audio. I figured that since I only use one source at a time, a switch would be simpler and hopefully provide quieter audio for a low price. It seems I was right.First up, I verified that my 3 inputs are all hiss- and static-free by plugging them directly into my speakers. this is important. Make sure your audio starts at a good place. After plugging in the cables, it immediately worked great, with nearly no audible noise unless I turn it up way loud.Note that the volume control is completely passive - this will not amplify your signal, but you can turn the volume down. If you plan to use it this way, I suggest setting your sources to as high as you can without hiss, and then use the knob on this unit to decrease it to where you want it. (But honestly, don't buy this for the volume control - I doubt I'll ever use it unless I need silence quickly)The switches are good, but because it's a lightweight unit, you need to hold it down when pressing the buttons. A little pressure on the top of the case or a finger reached to the back solves this.Others have complained a lot about the sound quality. In my unit, the sound quality is good, especially for the price. I don't think it's introducing any hiss into my system that's not already there on the inputs. I'm very pleased at the size, price and function of this audio switch. I looked at others, but this was the most promising small unit that took 1/8" TRS jacks directly. Glad I took a chance.

Two months later and I'm still digging it. Easy setup, easy to use, sturdy construction, and simple design. I don't use the remote as much as I thought I would, but the #1 feature that I needed far more than I thought is the volume knob. It makes such a difference! No more hunting for a remote or having to change remote batteries. If the music, game, or movie is too loud, I can instantly turn it down. For reference, I am running multiple audio inputs into two separate computer monitors, then running the two monitors into the 4-way audio switch inputs. The audio output from the 4-way switch runs to a Yamaha speaker bar. Everything is done by 3.5mm audio cable. This is new to me, as I've always used HDMI or optical cable. Given this, there were three concerns I had when I bought this switch:1. Sound quality on 3.5mm jack cable vs. optical cable or HDMI cable. Would it be noticeably worse?2. Feedback hum running two inputs at once to a switch. Would I experience a constant buzz from two powered audio outputs feeding into the same switch?3. Crappy construction. Despite good reviews, was this switch going to be like other audio or electronic equipment I've bought on Amazon? Despite having a reasonable price and 5-star reviews, would the audio switch break down, start crackling, or have buttons/LEDs fail after a few months? After two months, this is my experience.1. Let me preface #1 by saying I bought high-quality, gold-plated 3.5mm cables to work with this audio switch. Also, I am not an audiophile. Whether it was movies, streaming tv, video games, or music, I could not discern a significant difference between audio sources running to my speaker bar by HDMI output or by the switch's 3.5mm output. I was startled by how good the bass levels were on a 3.5mm cable: clear, not muddy, and full. I do wish this audio switch had a second knob, one for adjusting bass levels.2. I have only been running two inputs simultaneously, and have had zero feedback hum from the switch. I have not been able to test it with all four powered inputs simultaneously.3. The metal casing and crisp snap of the buttons when changing input/output selections continue to hold up after two months of daily use. The volume knob continues to work well. There has been no rattling, buzzing, audio or power issues with components inside the housing. The 4-way switch construction is solid. This is one of the better audio products I've purchased on Amazon.
