product works great. This installs through the glove box opening and connects between computer module and harness. In cold weather I could not get plug out, so I found it easier to remove 2 bolts that hold module in place so I could get a better grip on plug. If it doesn’t easily pop out ,do what I described. The bolts are easily accessible. The companies youtube video has comments locked out unfortunately.

This product works perfectly on my 2022 Ford Transit with 12” Touchscreen. That starting and stopping was driving me crazy.I was furious that Ford took the control out on its update. This fixed that issue entirely. Thanks 4D Tech!

I have a 22 Ford Transit van that I bought brand new. Overall, I'm happy with the van, but the absolute, most annoying feature was the auto-start/stop feature that shuts off the engine every time you stop at a light or get caught in stop & go traffic. Originally, I could turn this feature off by going into the settings/vehicle and toggling the auto-start/stop to OFF. Although it was a pain to do this every time I got into the vehicle, at least I could turn it off. Along came a firmware update from Ford that took away the option to disable, so that every time I brought the van to a stop, the engine shut off. The dealer was no help - they simply said that it couldn't be fixed. Then I found this device from 4dtech and I must say that I am thrilled with how it works in the van! It was very simple to install - just unplug a wire harness, then plug the device in between the original harness and where it plugs into the van. After installation, a message appeared stating that "auto-start/stop is disabled". A test drive confirmed that everything worked perfectly with no engine shut off during stop. PROBLEM SOLVED!!
