Easy to use. Fits and works great on craftsman mower with 20hp vortex motor. Can shut off valves, (I purchased 2) around fuel filter for easy change. Also easy to drain down gas tank for winter. Good quality.

This kit makes it easy to install or replace a fuel shutoff on a mower, snowblower, or other small engine powered tool. Installation and performance was as expected: easy and good. Good materials, and I can recommend it to others. I appreciate having been able to order and use this product.

I’m sure most of you won’t need this advice but for the first time homeowners / do thingers: make sure this is the correct valve you need. This didn’t work for my snowblower as my snow blower will barely fit a 90° shutoff. - it arrived on time and looks like it would’ve done the job.

I had problems with remembering to drain or use a fuel additive in the carburetor bowl of my gas generator which during the evaporation of fuel over time and in the heat of summer creates varnish. This fuel shutoff valve allows me to cut the fuel going to the carburetor and I can run it dry, eliminating the varnish buildup. So far it’s working for me to prevent varnish buildup.

The turn off valve went on great and the hose clamps fit perfect, contrary to what other reviews said about hose clamps being too small

This is an easy kit to add to my Toro recycler. It did not come with a fuel shut off and this kit worked perfectly. It really helps to shut off valve and run carb out of gas before storage.
