I absolutely love this dice set! It's a fantastic accessory for any Magic: The Gathering player, or really any TCG or board game enthusiast.You get a total of 24 black d6's, each side imprinted with one of the 12 key MTG statuses: First Strike, Double Strike, Vigilance, Menace, Trample, Haste, Lifelink, Reach, Flying, Hexproof, Deathtouch, and Indestructible.Plus, you get another 24 counter dice, split evenly between twelve blue dice showing -1/-1 through -6/-6, and twelve purple dice showing +1/+1 through +6/+6. And all of this comes in a really nice, large velvet pouch for easy carrying.The dice are beautifully designed and really stand out. The negative counters have this amazing sparkly blue-green finish, and the positive counters are a vibrant sparkly purple-red. They're definitely easy to spot on the table! The white keywords and golden numbers are large and clear, making them 'easy to read' even during a fast-paced game.These dice are made from 'premium acrylic,' and you can tell. They feel sturdy and durable, and I feel that they will hold up well over time. This is a great value for so many dice, and is sure to please any tabletop gamer!

We already had a set of dice for increases and decreases on Magic: The Gathering creatures in play. These are even more vital. While it was easy to add a d6 to a card, tracking that another card provides your creature with a keyword ability was much harder to track across the game table. That’s why this set is a godsend. With a great mix of keywords on dice that are ideally-sized to work with Magic cards, these are a must-have for serous players. You get a big collection of them for the price, too. Can’t recommend them enough!

The swirl pattern looks better in person. The colors and translucent nature pair well and make excellent counters. The two downsides of this dice counter set are the ratio and text dice. The issue with the ratio is that only a quarter are plus counters and the other dice counter types are typically far less used. The other issue is that the text dice aren't that appealing with basic print and some squished hard to read text. Overall still convenient and functional but probably not the first go to set.

I like the counter dice, but the keyword dice are only kinda "meh" for practical usefulness / will have limited functionality for Magic: The Gathering players. I think they'd likely be best utilized by newer players who struggle to keep track of keywords, or those with poor memories. The size and color of the counter dice is nice, and with the colors being appealing. Since I only think I'll use half the dice, I think the value is only okay on these.

The dice are a nice quality make and easily readable to help keep track of what attributes and counters each creature has, within reason. These won't help with massive counter multipliers stacked up and doubling beyond several dice. But for most play they do a good job.My only real complaint is they come with a single drawstring pouch to store and carry the dice in, but it just holds the dice and doesn't offer much room to dig around a find one of the 3 kinds of dice if the ones you're looking for are buried. So you'll likely just be dumping the dice out and scooping them back into the bag over and over. I like other dices very similar to these that came with a couple or more pouches so you can keep like counters together or priorities one pouch with the counters you use most often.

I really enjoy Magic the Gathering, and really like this as a neat accessory to enhance gameplay. While you play the game, card values and elements can change as a result of play, and these dice are perfect for noting on the card what the changes are, so that you can keep track of what your card values are easily and stylishly. True, we've been doing it all along, using paper slips with the various conditions and pluses and minuses listed, but having this dice set available to use during games make it easier to play and faster, too. (And it can reduce arguments because various changes can be forgotten without proper notation for all playing.) These are great for your own games, or as a gift for Magic the Gathering players.

These are good, standard 16mm dice that work perfectly. The ability keywords show 12 evergeen abilities: Deathtouch, flying, indestructible, hexproof, reach, lifelink, vigilance, trample, first strike, menace, double strike, and haste. They're missing some evergreen abilities like ward and defender. The words appear to be screen printed on so I'm not certain on durability, but I don't foresee these taking much abuse. All in all, I think these are very useful dice and worth it to have for playing Magic.
