For the price I debated whether to experiment with cheap knock offs or go with the pricier $$ home improvement versions. Rest assured this diamond embedded grinding wheel will gouge out concrete for the purpose designed. Dust is the primary nemesis when grinding concrete therefore a water flow if outdoors is beneficial if required. Indoors a wet/damp surface applied by rag/mop might help, nevertheless dust will result and impossible to prevent short of tent enclosing the area and wearing respiratory dust mask.

never used one until now so maybe others are better, this one does leave a pretty rough surface even compared to diamond cutting discs, but it flattens stone quick and easy

If you're looking at this grinding disc trying to decide whether to buy it or a more expensive one, I can tell you it's good. I was surprised given that it's just a made in China tool, but it ground my concrete just fine. I thought about getting the $50 DeWalt, but I'm glad I didn't, this was $13 when I bought it for my small job, and I'm glad I bought it and saved the money because it did a really good job. Would recommend, just as good as the more expensive brands.

Used the grinder to remove thinset from my bathroom floor for a tile replacement job. The grinder did a great job removing the material without cutting up the subfloor. It feels well crafted and didn't lose coloration or form during use.I can't speak to its job at grinding stone, but if you need a product to remove thinset, this is your grinding cup.

I am kicking myself for spending all that money on another grinding wheel I’m using this for acid stain floor prep I’m grinding my concrete floors. I have a huge living room, I thought I was gonna need a couple of these so I figured I get the expensive one and get a cheap one. I’m not gonna lie I was shocked when I got both of them they are the exact same. I have so much of I don’t know if you call them teeth on the blade or wheel I will probably be able to do my whole living room just with this grinding wheel. I’ll put up some pictures but definitely give this company a chance the product came quick it is so well-made.It’s made as well as the most expensive grinder blade. You should really give this product a try you won’t be disappointed. Also it works even better if you use water or liquid while grinding.

This is a medium quality product, at a ~1/3 cost of similar brand-name product. It works with my Makita 4-1/2" angle grinder. It does not last very long (mine lasted ~3 hrs working continuously with cooling breaks), but I believed that I've got my money's worth. For a larger work project, it pays to stock a backup. I used a dust shroud to collect most of the dust created from the grinding - I advise all grinders use one.

Work great used it with a regular Dewalt grinder. I don’t write reviews I read them tho, but I going to make one for this, it works great. I had some stubborn thin set in my entryway of my house, I don’t know what they did looked like they used some sort of self leveling concrete and put the thin set on top of it while it was still wet... I tried everything to get it up smooth enough to lay wood floors, I had seen these grinding wheels at Home Depot for 50 plus dollar, figure I would give this cheaper one a try and if it worked out I would go buy the better one, it ate up that thin set no problem even knock down some high spot on the foundation it was only about a 8’x10’ area but very little wear for what I did. My wife is mad I dusted the whole house but it works great, after I had to clean up my mess I was thinking I probably could have wet it a little and kept the dust down but live and learn.

Works fine on my 4 1/2 inch angle grinder with a 7/8" arbor. Includes extra washer that looks like it will work with 5/8" arbor. It is slightly larger than 4 1/2" in diameter so it barely spins without scraping the shroud. I had been a little nervous about fit since the sizes are given in metric units. It performed well grinding down mortar and concrete, but, as to be expected, not great on tile. It cuts fairly aggressively, and can leave round gouges if you aren't careful. But rough and fast grinding is what this type of wheel is designed for. I used a different wheel for that - a sintered wheel with smaller grinding teeth. It wore down a little faster than I would have wanted it to, but given the price that is more than acceptable.

Does not work with porter cable 4.5" grinder. Cup slips because the material is too thin to come in contact with grinder clamping nuts no matter how much tension is applied. You cannot flip the clamping nut as you would for a thin wheel because it does not fit into the diamond cup that way.Update: using a 5/8 x 11 nut really wrenched down in place of the grinder clamp nut made it usable. Then it proves itself well worth the money. Used it to grind concrete slab in kitchen flat where uneven. Make yourself a dust hood with a cardboard box with 2 holes one for hand and another for utility vac hose taped in place. I put a view hole on top with saran wrap and an led battery powered light facing down giving me a good enough view to do hours of grinding while keeping dust to a surprising minimum.
