This pad for dogs is excellent. There’s enough endless space for my three-year old Shih Tzu to use. There is no leakage and his paws stay dry. The cover is sturdy and stays high enough from the wet pad. It lasts all day instead of cleaning three times a day. The pads that we purchased are thick and absorbent and keeps it fresh.

I received this yesterday and I’m already writing a review. I had a medium size pad that had a grid with a plastic border where the grid wasn’t removable from it. Urine would get in the between grid and border and drip when I would un latch to sanitize it was just terrible! I decided to buy this expensive pad holder for my sanity and I’m so glad I did. No it isn’t very attractive but my floors are brown so big deal. My puppy had problems the first 6 months so I had to train her on a pad and then she got so used to this she won’t go in the back yard half the time so this is what I have to have for her. I use 2 30x36 pads and they fit nicely under the grid. Thank you for this pee pad holder Game changer for me!

At first I thought it might be flimsy and easily bent since it was such a big size. It actually is the most sturdy tray I oredered for my dog. The grid on top has strong enough support that I can walk on without afraid to break it like the 2 other trays I have. So the big size dog will do just fine. Changing the pad is so easy, just lift it up from one side and simply slide the new one in. Best one so far!

Overall, I’m really happy I bought this product for my 17 lb. shihpoo. My dog is usually timid about new things, but after a few tries, she’s gotten used to this. She was really confused the first time I tried to get her to go on it, so I put a pee pad on top for her first two potty breaks so she’d get used to going on it, and then after that, she knew what to do.Pros:• My dog’s paws stay clean. This is the biggest benefit by far.• The size. I usually set out a few pee pads at once so my dog has plenty of space to do her circles, and this was the only holder I found that can hold two pads at once.• It doesn’t stink at all (at least so after the first day), and the top hasn’t gotten sticky. I was bracing myself to wipe it down every day, but after my dog uses it, I can’t see any liquid on the grate to clean off, so that’s nice.Cons:- I think the quality could be a little better given how much this costs. The corners of the base bow a little bit when my 17 lb. dog is on it, which she’s not bothered by. But because of the bowing, the holder is constantly tapping against the ground and therefore making noise when she walks on it—which she IS bothered by. Luckily, I have a few random (ugly) carpet tiles that I was able to place underneath it to stop the noise. But I need to buy some floor mats that look nicer than those carpet tiles, since the holder itself is a little bit of an eyesore already and needs all the help it can get. (Plus, I live in an upper-floor apartment with neighbors below me who constantly complain about noises from the pipes. I know they’d complain if there was constant tapping against my floor throughout the day.)

My Corgi has IVDD and has to be on strict crate rest. I tried everything to keep him comfortable and DRY, but nothing worked. This tray has been a game changer!!! I took an exercise pen and cut the connectors off of each panel, then zip tied the panels together for a more custom fit around the perimeter of the tray. The insert in this tray keeps the puppy pads in place. Yes, it's big, but it's perfect for what I need. It's easy to take outside and hose off. I am sending everyone your way whose canine companions have IVDD.

This is my 3rd order as I'm replacing all those other trays that are too small and my dogs can get to the pee pads and tear it up. This tray is large perfect for Frenchies and English bulldogs. It is sturdy and locks in the pee pads. I use the Costco peepads laying 2 sideways and one lengthwise in the middle so I usually just need to change this middle pad. This prevents accident in the house when I'm away and the dogs don't need to hold it in. Just wished they sell the top only too as this over time can crack and break.
