I got the 78 Inch Semitransparent Shower Threshold Water Dam, Silicone Barrier Shower Door Bottom Seal Strip, Self Adhesive Waterproof Barrier to put around my sink that is my kitchen island.I cannot be happier with this product. Thankfully there was much more than I needed because my first got round in using it was a disaster. I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing and peeled the tape off. Once I figured it out and was careful, it was super easy to install. I simply measured the length I needed, cut it to fit the desired length and applied it to the edges of the sink. I was concerned about damage that it may cause but when I didn't quite get one strip on correctly, it peeled off easily and I didn't notice any damage. So take your time and don't make the same mistake I made.So far, I have not had any problems with water leaking nor did it lift off when I cleaned it. I am thankful it is functioning as intended and that it is transparent because it doesn't interfere with my beautiful sink and countertop.

If you're having problems with adhesion, I would recommend first cleaning the surface with isopropyl alcohol. I installed it on natural slate tile, which is very uneven, so I knew I would have to apply a bead of silicon caulk to keep it in place. It is very soft and flexible and the dimensions are true to the listing.

I used this product a little bit differently than I think it was intended. I have an older shower with a glass door. The original water diverter has fallen off and I have not been able to find a replacement. I am always on the lookout for something that might work so I ordered this and very easily installed it on my door. Now when the water runs down the door it falls right back into the shower. I am very happy with my purchase.

Unfortunately, this product will not work for my intended application. It's a bit too wide and not flexible enough to go around a 90 degree rounded corner. If it was a right angle it could be cut on a 45 and pieced together.

I was amazed at how flexible this silicone barrier is. So much so that I ordered a longer piece to go around my hexagonal sink. The adhesive barely even sticks to the strip itself, let along anything else, which really isn't surprising. One of the selling points of silicone is that nothing sticks to it. I've read that cyanoacrylate glues (i.e. super glue) will work to stick silicone to itself. Still need to do a little more research to determine if that, or just marine glue, would be the best option. Still... nice strip of silicone and it will be perfect for my shower once I figure out how to stick it down

I have a not quite water-tight seal to my handmade shower, and ordered this in the hopes that the small spillout would be eliminated. I have yet to test it, but the application is easy, with the continuous adhesive seal, and the "L" angle design with a sloping curve towards the water-flow side should stop and redistribute the water away from the open area.Very affordable preventive barrier, and trim to fit with a pair of household scissors, should do the trick.Jan. 12 UPDATE- This product has FAILED. After 2 showers and 2 months of simply sitting adhesed, the glue has failed and it peeled up. Very disappointed and must order another .
