This chain is just what I want. It's not metal coated plastic and it's not flimsy. It's real. BUT I can't get the links open. I have metal cutting tools so I was able to cut this stainless steel with those.

Very nice shine, value for the money, great quality.I bought one spool to see the textures and how sturdy the chain would be for crafting jewelry. Pleasantly surprised and ordered two more spools!So far, when making charm bracelets, have found that it is tarnish resistant and the chain is nice for making cute bracelets!

I make jewelry for a living so I am very familiar with quality of findings and chain and this is pretty good. It's not 100% fantastic, but if you are looking for something easy and fast to use for a basic chain, this would be perfect for that the metal. Is a lot lighter than it appears to be weight wise and the finish is a little bit duller than I expected as well.
