They are made of flimsy plastic that do absolutely nothing to prevent the squirrels from going into our pergola. They have been hanging for less than 24 hours and the squirrels are just going around the. They are completely useless and a total waste of money.

I AM IN A NEW HOME AND THE BIRDS SEEM TO LIKE MY COVERED PATIO AND LEAVE QUITE A MESS BEHIND. THESE PAPER OWLS HAVE WORKED PERFECTLY IN KEEPING THE BLACK BIRDS AWAY. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO YOU AS THEY WERE INEXPENSIVE AND VERY EFFECTIVE. I WOULD BUY AGAIN AS THEY HAVE EVEN HELD UP TO THE SUMMER HEAT AND SUNLIGHT.

I bought these to put around the outside of the house to distract birds from coming to the windows and walls and pecking at the wood. These dont do much at all in terms of distracting the birds or keeping them away from the property. I will have to find a different solution for this.
