It seems somewhat cheaply made but it works flawlessly. I’d buy it again for sure. If the gauge was slightly bigger, I’d give 5 stars. Gauge works for what I need… just a 400 watts amp. I’ve had zero issues with it.

As has been mentioned before (I missed the review before that said so) the introductory description says this a 12-ga wire but scroll down to the details and it states this is a 15-ga (?) wire. It is definitely NOT 12-ga. If you’re running anything of consequence like a bass or guitar amp seek something else out as this is minimal capacity for something like that. I received mine in the mail today and learned the hard way.

This cable was listed with the words, "12 Gauge Wire" in the name, but the cable I received has no wire gauge markings and is significantly skinnier than the actual 12-gauge cable it was intended to replace. An actual 12-gauge speaker cable is the one shown on the left in the attached photo. The cable I received is the pencil-necked looking thing on the right, which is going back to Amazon ASAP. The construction of this cable is not confidence inspiring, with only a loose plastic sleeve providing insulation on the 1/4" end. The speakON end also felt cheap, and constructed of a brittle plastic. I would in no way recommend connecting this cable to a working amplifier.
