The product quality is fine .One reviewer used it on his 3rd gen Tacoma and I bought it due to that review but beware that this is not the correct replacement for a third gen . I’m sure you can make it work with tape and glue but I decided to get OEM .

Looked great at install - just like original. Followed all instructions for install attachment to the letter. Unfortunately it blew off when driving in high heat of CA valley. Never even heard it. It was there at one stop for gas and gone the next.

I installed a aftermarket roof rack. My 3rd gen came with the factory rack. I needed trim I could cut up to fit around brackets. The dealer wanted over $600 cdn for the 2 piece per side 3rd gen trim. I found the 1 piece per side 2nd gen trim on here and decided to try it considering the rack I removed fits both 2nd and 3rd gen Tacoma. It worked perfectly, couldn't be happier. I added extra double sided Gorilla tape in a couple of spots, otherwise perfect.

I have a 2023 gen 3 Tacoma. Wasn't sure if this would fit on it but was willing to try based on the fact Toyota wanted $130 per each seal for OEM seals. ($260 🤯🤯🤯). These honestly are better than the factory ones. Went in super nice, no issues. As other reviews have recommended, I added some additional double-sided sticky tape so that's probably important if you purchase, but other than that, slam dunk.
