Does not fit 1979 xs650 with BS38 carbs. It looks like it's supposed to be the same floats, but it will not work. The dimensions of how far the pin mounts in relation to the rest of the float are incorrect to work. The distance from the float pin is bigger than factory, which puts the adjustment tab in the incorrect spot on the needle, and the floats themselves so far out horizontally that they hit the wall of the bowl. You could possibly bend things around enough to work, but after an hour of trying, I ended up just de-soldering the floats off of the bracket and soldering them on to my old bracket that fits the carb.
