Operating Modes:

P1: Upon receiving a triggering signal, the relay turns on for an OP time and then turns off. Within the OP time, the following operations apply:

  • P1.1: Subsequent triggering signals during the OP time have no effect.
  • P1.2: Subsequent triggering signals during the OP time reset the timer.
  • P1.3: Subsequent triggering signals during the OP time reset the timer, causing the relay to turn off and stop the timing process.

P2: When a triggering signal is received, the relay turns off after a CL time, then turns on for an OP time. Once the timer completes, the relay turns off.

P3.1: Upon receiving a triggering signal, the relay turns on for an OP time, then turns off for a CL time. This cycle repeats, and within each cycle, if another signal is received, the relay turns off and stops the timer. The cycle count (LOP) can be configured.

P3.2: After power-up, without requiring a triggering signal, the relay turns on for an OP time and then turns off for a CL time. This cycle repeats, and the cycle count (LOP) can be configured.

P4: Signal Holding Function - If a triggering signal is present, the timer resets to zero, and the relay remains on. Once the signal disappears, the relay turns off after an OP time. If another signal is received during the timing period, the timer resets to zero.

These operating modes delineate the various functionalities and responses of the module to different triggering signals, offering flexible options for relay control and timing operations.

How to Configure Parameters

  1. Begin by determining the relay's operating mode.
  2. Based on the relay's operating mode, on the main interface (when the module powers on, the current working mode will flash – default is P1.1 mode), proceed to the main interface after which, "Press and hold the SET button for 2 seconds, then release" to access the mode selection screen. Use the UP and DOWN buttons for short presses to select the desired mode to be configured (P1.1~P-4).
  3. Once the desired mode is selected (e.g., P3.2), press the SET button briefly to set the corresponding parameters. The parameters to be set will flash (OP on-time, CL off-time, LOP cycle count ("---" indicates unlimited cycles)). Use UP and DOWN to adjust the parameter values, supporting both long presses (rapid increase or decrease) and short presses (increase or decrease by 1 unit). Once the parameter values are set, press the STOP button briefly to select the decimal point position and choose the timing range (corresponding time from 0.1 seconds to 999 minutes). Press the SET button briefly to set the next parameter for the current mode – the process is the same as before.
  4. After configuring the parameters for the selected mode, press and hold the SET button for 2 seconds, then release. The currently configured mode will flash, and you will return to the main interface, confirming successful parameter setup.

Main Interface: In a non-operational state, the relay displays "000" (without a decimal point). In operational states, the relay displays with a decimal point.

Mode Selection Screen: Accessed by pressing and holding the SET button, exit by pressing and holding SET again, returning to the main interface.

For what it does, it's well worth it. Set up, once you do the unmanly reading of instructions, is easy. Multiple set points/parameters. I used one to built a gate operator, switching 2 D.C. linear actuators through a dpdt relay

I needed to turn a 12V circuit on for 5 min every hour. There are a lot of more complex and expensive ways to do that, but this module was all that was needed. There's no clock to set, just set the 5 min on and 55 min off values and any time you power it will start with the on period and then the off, repeating after that. I've had one running for over 3 months without trouble.

The timer seems to be of good quality. The instructions are lacking for setting the time. There is no link in the original desription for contacting the supplier or area for asking questions. That's on Amazon for not supporting their vendors or customers. I will be returning this item and looking for something with support. It does me no good if I can't set the time. IT IS A TIMER!
