If you know what this TDA7293 component is, and are considering ordering it, your most pressing question will likely be about its legitimacy. I haven’t built it into a high power amp yet, but I did check for legitimacy to the extent I was able. First, the markings do indeed seem to be laser etched, which is a good sign. Second, I am measuring the correct ballpark resistances between pin 8 (the tab) and pins 5, 10, and 11. These should measure about 3M ohm, although I’m measuring about 4.5M ohm. The other measurements used to check legitimacy are also all a bit high by 50% as well, but at least they are measureable.On the most common knock-off components, they use a cheaper 7294 and just reprint the 7293 marking on top. But on a 7294, those pins I measured are all N.C. The fact that these are measurable, but out of spec, leads me to believe these are likely legitimate TDA7293 amplifiers, but may have been factory discards (for being out of spec). If you’re buying these from Amazon instead of a distributor, you’re probably a hobbyist, and these will likely work just fine for you. I’ll give them a benefit-of-the-doubt 5 stars, but I’ll also update this review if needed once I use them in a build.
