When I pulled these out of the packaging I thought the were lighter in weight that the previous sleeves I had of this kind but they're actually a bit heavier. The only thing I don't like about these is that the seem is on the front of the sleeve and not on the back like it should be. But other than that they'll do.

My son has discovered vinyl records and has been given a lot of old records through friends and relatives. Several of the 45’s didn’t have anything to protect them. These worked out great and were cheaper but better quality than others.

The inside ends at the top of every one of these 7" inner sleeves are sticky. So every time you slip a record in or out, the record picks up some of this gunk. This product is essentially defective and rather than protecting your records, it damages them. Please do the right thing and ensure this product is taken off the shelves.

I have about 130 45s that needed some love an attention, including sleeves. I bought these because they have HDPE inner sleeves with a sturdy outer paper sleeve. There aren’t too many suppliers out there and they had good reviews, so I ordered 200 sleeves (for future purchases).They work very well and look great. I wish the HDPE was a little less cloudy, but the labels are still legible. My main issue is that the sleeves do impart paper fragments onto the records upon insertion and removal. This happened quite frequently, so it wasn’t just one or two. (I processed 135 45s and it seemed to happen to many of them and it is voy when you remove the record from the sleeve.From what I can tell, this is an artifact of the manufacturing process when cutting the sleeve to size. Just pay attention to this and make sure you use an anti static brush to clean the vinyl.

Was surprised by these, given the low price of 100. I archived and cleaned a batch of 45s from the goodwill and these worked great. The polylined inner is glued in, and these tend to get a tad bulkier. Whether on not the glue holds up on the lining will tell over time, but so far I'm a fan of these.
