This is a really nice transformer that I used for a different purpose. I have a Ring Battery Doorbell Pro that I can't wire to the existing doorbell, so I needed a 24VAC transformer to provide power so that I don't need to recharge and replace the battery all the time. Well, this made that easy as I just ran wires to the doorbell and added a power connector to connect with transformer, and it works. Happy camper.I can't review it for it's intended purpose, but I can provide this review for an alternate purpose. If this is at all helpful, and you are in a similar situation, I can definitely recommend this transformer. It is a bit heavy, which is normal, as transformers of this size tend to have weight. BEST

There's not much to say here without an electrical analysis. It does the job. I cut off the end and am using it to drive my modern thermostat, check your own specs though!
