This is a very nice looking wine rack. It arrived needing assembly, but included all the parts and the little tool needed to assemble. The directions look more complicated than it is and I had it together in about 10-15 minutes. I was so excited that it was so strong, stabile and balanced! The wine rack materials also included stuff to secure it to a wall to prevent tipping, but I chose not to do that. The only negative thing about the wine rack is that I had one bottle that is a little more bulbous in the base of the bottle that would could not be loaded into the rack from the front. I was able to put it in from the back though. I ordered the dark version and it looks just as pictured. This is a very good value and very well made. Recommend

A classic style wine rack that looks excellent and holds bottles like they're supposed to be stored. It's a beautiful dark wood color that matches exactly to all the other dark wood furniture I have. It holds only the 750ml bottles which is what a wine rack should be. If you have good wine that needs to be stored than 99.9% of the time it's going to be a 750ml size bottle. Your big old wino-size bottle of Yellowtail can sit somewhere else. At first it looks like a lot of pieces to assemble but it's really only the wine racks themselves which need to be screwed in to the four posts. There is two levels that sit on top of eachother and are secured down with some very nice T25 wood screws. And the same screws are used along with dowels to secure the wine racks to the posts. That makes assembling it much easier and since there is no particle board it remains very strong and will last a long time. It could also go in a dark damp cellar because it is not made of wood fibers but solid wood so it functions as a real wine rack. It does not need shims of any kind. It sits level on the ground and the bottles are angled down like they're supposed to. This wine rack is much nicer than you would think for the cheap price, buying this locally would always cost more.

It's ok not perfect tho as it doesn't line up when you stack them and needs a shim to level it up. But it will work
