About install:
1. 86% of the bicycle has been assembled. You need to install pedals, front wheels, handlebars and inflate the tires.
2. Rotate the front fork 180 degrees before assembling the front wheel (the brake will be in front of the bicycle)
3. The left and right pedal threads are different. The spindle of each pedal is marked with an L/R mark to ensure that they are assembled in the correct position.
The right side pedal has right-hand threads. The left pedal has left-hand threads.
Use a tool to screw the two pedals into the crank arm as much as possible.
4. All tools are included in the package, no additional tools.

purchased and within 7 hrs of riding blew up rear deraileur and gearset. spent roughly another 400$ on chain, shifter,brake and deraileur upgrades. rides like a charm now.

So, in general the bike appears to be what I knew I was buying. Frame fabrication looks good, wheels are well balanced, the gears seem mostly tuned well enough to hop on and ride. So over all, not at all a bad buy. But.... Bike parts were sticking out of the box when it arrived (rough handling fro FedEx???) There were loose parts at the bottom of the box that were not clearly identified. The box with parts didn't come with a what is what sheet. The bike manual for assembly and tuning didn't even match the bike at all. So, if I had been a complete novice, I'd most likely have been a bit lost to assemble the bike.

Pros: Easy of assembly. Fantastic ride. Shipped on time. Well packaged. All parts ordered were included. Great for height challenged adults 5' 7" and under. Elecony is a good looking 24" twenty-one speed Mountain Bike. Price is reasonable and competitive. Cons: Seat, too skinny & not comfortable. Purchase another one. Plan on adjustments for Brakes, cables, (Mounted on the wrong side too close to frame and tire.) Chain and Shimano Shifter plus derailleur need minor adjustment. Not a deal breaker. Just be sure to check everything out. Manual is included and has info for maintenance & safe comfortable ride. Have a blast. Enjoy your mountain bike adventures. Update from my review 3-02-24. As stated, this is a great Mountain Bike. Take the time to check, double check and tighten every bolt, nut, allen screws cable adjusters,, disk brakes & brake levers. Shimano Shifter, handle bar allen bolts, and frame bolts. OTHER WISE BE PREPARED FOR SOME ROAD RASH! Yes it is worth it

For just over $200, this is a great bike. The reason I'm giving this cheap bike 5 stars is simple. Looks great, fast ship, all there and packed well. Of course at this price you can't be surprised with two bent rims and some out of whack brakes and some cable rerouting. EXPECT to take it to a professional and get it properly put together and adjusted for about another $100... I'm a mechanic by trade and just couldn't tune it to work properly. Don't waste your money for the Amazon build either. Only a real bike shop will be able to properly straighten the rims and adjust the gearing to properly work. And it's not a $5K mountain bike either. But it's without question a great reliable smooth boardwalk cruiser for the Jersey shore as well as parks and pavement and light trails. NO rock hopping. You want a real mountain bike, then spend over $3K and expect yearly maintenance and tune up fees. But for recreational use, it's an excellent choice....

Great bike if you are hesitant speding a lot on an expensive mountain bike for a child. Built well hold up to mountain trails, easy to put together. Brakes may need some calibration.

I bought both 24" and 26" bikes. One came with plastic fenders and no water bottle. The other came with water bottle but no fenders. Its hard to get the disk brakes aligned. Had to loosen calipers and re-adjust. Instructions are not intuitive, poor graphic representations. Tools are provided. Begin assembly days before gifted to reduce stress, not the night before. Nice products when completed. Cable lock mount and key are great addition.

Purchased this bike as a gift. The receiver LOVES the bike; noting that it was easy to put together and rides smoothly. Great bike for the price. No complaints so far. I will add that the bike was shipped on time and arrived about a day or two earlier than its expected arrival date. That was a pleasant surprise. 😊❤🚲UPDATE:I initially gave this bike a 5 star 🌟 review... Here is my update after less than a month of the child riding the bike! Today is August 9, 2022. I contacted the seller on July 31, 2022 to express concerns that the bike was "locking up on the child when in motion," which was extremely dangerous. I was told to send pictures of the issue and they would further assess the issue and possibly pay to resolve the problem if I take the bike for repair at a local bike shop. I let seller know then, "No, I would rather exchange this bike now, since it was a gift and has been less than 3 weeks of the child riding it." Well the seller insisted I send pictures and then they would consider next steps. I sent pictures and a VIDEO of this bike... the bike is ((rusting)) and making loud noises. It barely pettles. I want to remind you that this is only after 3 weeks of riding. After all of the exchanges of communication, the seller stated,"We have received the photos you sent and sorry about this issue. We're willing to give you $50 as compensation for this issue." Sincerely yours,Elecony"Unbelievable, the bike lasted less than 3 weeks! I do NOT recommend!Update #3 8-12-22I'm returning yet AGAIN, the seller sent me a return label, "Noting sorry about the inconvenience, please use this label to return at no cost to you, and refund will be sent to you once bike is returned." Okay, cool. Turns out, I was STILL charged $27.00 to ship this bike back to this seller! Again, I . DO . NOT . RECOMMEND!🗣 I rarely write ((negative)) reviews. Really nice bike, highly recommended. One of the reasons that I purchased it is because it had a Shimano shifter. It was easy to assemble and no adjustments were neededI purchased the 26” model. I’m 6-4” tall. The frame is too small for me. I ended up giving it to my wife. I would not recommend for anyone over 6 foot tall.Other nice features are the disk brakes.
