These batons are NOT proper batons, they are toys. The ends are not rubber or "rubberised", they are lightweight hard plastic.The shafts are a little thicker than described, and feel like very thin, hollow, lightweight metal. They are not proper baton shafts.I bought these for beginners to borrow, but they are really only a toy, not something you could use long term and become skilled with.For the price, they are OK for a child or complete beginner, you can still twirl them, but they are barely better than the cheap plastic toy batons you find in toy shops.

Very cheap baton, O.K. for beginners but, it is not weighted like a real “professional “ baton.I coached baton twirling for 30 years! We used to buy these “play batons “ for five dollars!
